About Me
I am a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a double major in Journalism and Environmental Studies. I am passionate about using cinematic storytelling to document new experiences, share others’ passions, and capture the natural world.
My multimedia work includes film and digital photography as well as video projects for school, the Daily Tar Heel, and my travel experiences.

Getting Started
My interest in photography and videography began during my gap year, as I was looking for new ways to document my journey and share my experiences with family and friends. With only a film camera and a small Kodak PixPro, I committed to filming as much as I could, choosing to create a new video every month. Each month, I saw myself get a little better and was excited about continuing my hobby after my gap year ended.
Since arriving at UNC, I have tried to gain as much experience as possible. My most rewarding experience has been working on the Audio-Visual Desk at the Daily Tar Heel. Through capturing stories around campus and working with other hard-working, creative storytellers, I have gained a passion for video journalism. I am excited to gain more experience as an assistant editor next year.
